Email on Contacts/Leads
Emails that have been sent/received from a Contact or Lead can be seen viewed right from iCRM.
Prerequisites
- Email Integration must be enabled on Global Settings > Integration. If not, please refer to Enable Email Integration step or ask your iCRM Administrator to set it.
The Email Integration field is now available on the Mail Server details must be setup on User Profile. If not, please refer to Setup mail server details.
Contact and Lead Emails
1. Select Contacts or Leads from the Object Navbar.
2. Open any record and click the Emails tab. Note, number of emails fetched for open folder is indicated on the tab info.
3. The list shows all the emails for the last 2 weeks from the "Inbox" folder by default.
List displays Date, Subject, Importance and whether the email has an attachment.
4. Click on the Subject to open and view the email.
5. On the "Add to CRM" column, you may, if needed, click the icon to add this email as an Activity Log associated with this contact/lead. This is useful if you want to always have access to this email, otherwise it disappears from the list after 2 weeks.
A "check mark" means that this email is already added as an Activity Log.
6. On the top left, click the drop down arrow to select a different folder. Note, number of emails fetched for open folder is indicated on the tab info.
