Security Settings Default
iEnterprise CRM follows another layer of security called Account-based security. This is on top of Privileges.
The Administrator sets a number of security fields on the Company Configuration record. This is called Account Level Security Default, which comprises of labels and the privileges assigned to those security labels.
Each User Profile created will inherit these fields, the Administrator can then opt to (or by Request can) customize these setting as needed.
Default Security Settings are:
Manager - has Modify, Delete and View privileges on specified accounts and all its associated records
Other Manager - has Modify and View privileges on specified accounts and all its associated records
Involved - has View privileges on specified accounts and all its associated records
When a new account is created, its security setting will depend on the security setting of the selected Account Owner.
Global Privileges
Account/record security cannot break Global privileges BUT account/record security can LIMIT global privileges.
Open Security
At first install, value of "All" is selected, opening Account security to all users.
