Enabling Subscription
The Administrator can enable this feature but there are prerequisites that must be observed.
Prerequisites
On Opportunity:
- Opportunity type field must exists on the header, if its not.
- Sales stage = "Closed - Won" value must exists
On Products:
- Subscription field on Products items for subscription must be set to "Yes".
- Taxable field can be set as well, as needed.
How to Enable Subscription
1. Click Setup from the Toolsbar.
2. Click on Global Settings > Enable/Disable Module. Page opens and all available modules are laid out.
All modules used by this instance is listed at top
All modules not used are listed under Hidden Modules section.
3. Drag "Subscription" to unhide it. Subscription now displays on the tab.
Company Configuration
Even though that this module may display on the tabs, the feature will not work unless "Enable Subscription" is set on your Company Config
4. Click on Global Settings > Company Configuration.
5. On the Other Settings tab,
Select the checkbox "Enable Auto-creation of Subscription record from Won opportunity " and click Save.
Subscription module appears on the Navbar
Subscription Details section now appears on the Opportunity form.
