Quick Links
iEnterprise CRM has a feature that enables the user to setup simple tasks and have access to it at anytime from some forms on the different modules.
These automation tasks can be created and managed by the Administrator from Setup Module. Tasks can be as simple as creating and sending an email to a contact, changing a field value or it can be as complex as executing 10 simple actions one after the other.
Quick links can be accessed from the record level and also from Related Records. For added usability and organization, another layer of access can be setup for Public Quick Links. A Restrict to field can be populated with individual user names or group names. Only members of this group can see that particular Quick Link.
iEnterprise CRM ships with a handful of canned automation to start with.
We will use the Contacts module as an example.
Run a Quicklink from the list
1. Select Contacts from the Object Navbar.
2. From the list, click on the three-dots icon. A list of available quicklinks for this module, which the current user has access to, pops-up.
3. Select the desired Quicklink.
Depending on the selected task, the process either executes on the background or it will launch a form that the user needs to populate to process the task, such as enter a prompted value.
If the task is updating a field value, the process is in the background.
For example, an Quick Link can be Excluding the Contact from future Mailing. After selecting this automation, the Exclude from Mailing field gets updated to "Yes" after the screen refreshes.
For a foreground process, a prompt is displayed to either enter a value or select from a list.
Run a Quicklink for an associated record
1. Select Contacts from the Object Navbar.
2. From the list, open a record and click on the Related Tab.
3. Go to the desired associated object, click on the three-dots icon. A list of available quicklinks for this module, which the current user has access to, pops-up.
4. Select the desired Quicklink. Process runs.
