Calendar & Task Sync Settings

Using this feature, Administrators can control and/or override a user’s Calendar/Task Sync settings in their mail file.

A Scheduled Agent in Admin Database runs on the server which syncs all users calendar/task who’s Connector status is set to Disabled. See more information regarding agents at the end of this Guide. Important – Scheduled Sync from Admin Database won’t run if:

  • 􏰀  User is not activated
  • 􏰀  User is not enabled
  • 􏰀  The Admin Database is not signed. The ID used to sign the database must have at least Designer access to every user’s mail file on the server. 


Sync -> Enable - The Scheduled Agent in the user’s mail file will be enabled and will run on scheduled basis on the Server. When enabled, the following message is displayed in the user’s mail file Settings:


Sync -> Disable - This will disable Schedule Sync option in the Lotus Notes Connector for the selected user. The user still be able to force sync from their Mail file settings using the Sync Now button



To do this from the Connector User view:

  1. Select the users you need to change in the user view
  2. Click the button Calendar Sync
  3. Choose to either Enable or Disable the selected users
