Adding Users to the Admin Console

There are 3 options when adding users:

  1. Use button ‘Connector Users –> New User(s) to import an individual or multiple user records
  2. Use button ‘Connector Users –> Import Domino Group to import users from a Domino Group. This is the recommended method.
  3. Use button ‘Connector Users –> Import All Domino Users button to copy all users in the domino directory to Admin Database. Note. This action will copy all person documents from the Domino Directory and may take some time.

The Domino Group should not be renamed once users have been imported. If a group is renamed, the users will be removed from the Admin database. You will then be required to re-import the group to re-enable the users.   􏰀  Users will be imported with a default status of Disabled.

Option One: Use Button 'Connector Users -> New User(s)'

  1. Click on the button Connector Users and choose the option New User(s).  This will call up a selection window that asks you to choose from which address book you want to select the user.
  2. When the address book appears, you may choose one or more listed users.  Once done, click OK.
  3. Those user will be added to the Connector Users view in the Admin Console.

Option Two: Use Button 'Connector Users -> Import Domino Group'

  1. Click on the button Connector Users and select the option Import Domino group.  A window will appear that allows you to select your Domino Address Book.
  2. Locate and select the group your wish to use in the field marked Group.  Note that the group must already exist in the Domino Directory before you may import it.
  3. Click OK to have all members of that group appear in the LNC Admin Console Connector Users view.

If the members of an imported group changes in the Directory, you may import that update in to the Admin Console by clicking 'Connector Users -> Update Domino Groups'.

Option Three: Use Button ‘Connector Users –> Import All Domino Users’

This feature imports all users in the Domino Directory to the LNC Admin Console. This is not recommended if the Domino Directory contains a large amount of user records and only a few will use the LNC itself.
