Monitoring Feature
This feature is particularly useful when the users are working on a mobile device. You may drag and drop multiple inbound or sent emails to the folder shown below (“CRM\Send to CRM”).
Once the Folder monitoring option is enabled on Connector settings, on next sync schedule the emails would be sent to CRM. Once Sent to CRM successfully the email in the folder will be moved back to its corresponding Inbox or Sent view.
“Enable Folder Monitoring Feature button” - Background agent which runs every 30 minutes by default. This will monitor for records added to the Folder to Send to CRM
“Run Now” - Useful when using Notes client and run the folder sync option instantly without waiting for agent’s next schedule.
Note – If you have already enabled “Enable Incoming Email Auto Sync” option, Folder monitoring feature will be needed only for Sent emails.
Following shows the “Send to CRM” subfolder folder listed under “CRM” Folder.
This folder will be installed using the installer
Once Sent to CRM successfully the email in the folder will be moved back to its corresponding Inbox or Sent view. If for any reasons if the email could not be sent to CRM, you may view the log by opening the corresponding email document and click on the “view log” link as shown below.
The email document will stay in the “Send to CRM” folder itself. You will have to send it to CRM
