Change log level and log path

You can change the location of where your log files are stored and the level of logging on your server using the installer.

The Logging level can also be changed from the iEnterprise Mobile console application, but save location cannot. Please see How to change the server logging level.
  • Select the "Change Log Level and Log Path" button in the installer.
  • Click on the Browse button and select the path of the Tomcat application and click Next.
  • Select the name of the server you wish to change using the Select Project drop down box and click Next.
  • Now choose a path and logging level you wish and click Update Log File to complete.The categories of log files available are as follows:
    • warn: Log warning messages, errors and fatal messages
    • off: Do not save any log files
    • fatal: Only log error messages relating to fatal errors
    • error: Log error and fatal error messages
    • info: Log all information messages within the application. This is the level which allows basic monitoring of iEnterprise Mobile, and is the default.
    • debug: Used only in the event of problems. This option creates large, detailed logs for use by iEnterprises to aid in troubleshooting.
