Other Uses of the iEnterprise Mobile Installer

There are several other tasks which can be performed using the iEnterprise Mobile installer.  In all cases, the procedure for starting the installer is the same, providing the instructions related to your environment have been followed:

• Linux Preparation
• Windows Preparation

Unzip the iEnterprise Mobile installer you received from iEnterprises. 

Windows: Start the iEnterprise Mobile installer by clicking the file start_installer.bat in the directory you just unzipped. 

Linux: Start the iEnterprise Mobile installer by typing in the shell from the directory where the installer's zip file was unzipped:

sudo java -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -jar Installer.jar 

From this point, there are several choices available:

• Update existing server
• Removal of existing server
• Rotate encryption key
• Extract files for manual installation
• Configure MySQL users for admin console
• Change log level and log path
• Change MySQL authentication
