Log files are not created
Problem
Log files are not being created and saved although the current log is written to memory.
From the Admin console you navigate to Utility > Show Log and notice that log files have stopped being saved and only the current log is readable.
Solution
This issue can occur if there is no disk space available where the logs are saved or permissions have changed on the path where log file are saved.
- Check there is enough disk space available.
- Check that the file creation permission on the path is correct.
If the disk space and permissions are not the problem, then a restart of the Tomcat service may be required.
