Enable logging in Android

If after activation, you are having difficulty in synchronizing or receiving updates, please enable logging so that communication can be checked.
 

To enable logging (Tablet):

  1. Open the Swift MEAP™ application
  2. Tap on the Swift MEAP™ application icon in the top left of the screen to enter Options.
  3. Tap on Advanced Options
  4. You will see an option to "Enable Logging". Swipe the toggle icon left/right to change the status.
  5. Try at least two/three attempts to synchronize data
  6. When you are ready to send the logs, navigate back to Options->Advanced Options
  7. A new option is displayed, titled 'Mail Logs'. Tap to select.
  8. You will be presented with a list of options for how you want to send the log file, which is a standard text file. You should send the log file to your server administrator.

To enable logging (Phone):

  1. Open the Swift MEAP™ application
  2. Tap on the three vertical dots at the bottom of the page. Tap on Settings.
  3. You will see an option to "Enable Logging". Tap to enable/disable.
  4. Try at least two/three attempts to synchronize data.
  5. When you are ready to send the logs, navigate back to Settings
  6. A new option is displayed, titled 'Mail Logs'. Tap to select.
  7. You will be presented with a list of options for how you want to send the log file, which is a standard text file. You should send the log file to your server administrator.

Logging will continue and will use space on your device, so after sending logs, go back to settings and DISABLE logging. Typically, logs are required for a 30-minute period to ensure that multiple sync transactions are captured in the logs.w
