Viewing a record

Key

1. Edit / Delete / Custom icons – these are displayed IF the current record can be edited / removed / deleted. Custom actions are automated scripts; tapping on down arrow displays a list of custom actions. On a Phone, tap on the More button (three vertical dots) to reveal options.
2. Basic record details – depending on how fields are grouped in the server, some record details will be displayed at the top of the screen.
3. Details toggle – this displays / hides information that cannot be displayed in the basic record details screen. The display will extend to display additional information.
4. Related list – this shows related objects, tapping on the bar will display a list of related records. The number of related records (on the current device) is displayed in brackets.
5. Plus icon – wherever a plus icon is displayed, tapping on it will create a new record. In the related list, tapping + on Activity will create an Activity record (related to current record). An arrow is only displayed if you have permission to create records.
