How to ensure you have the latest version of Swift MEAP on your device

iEnterprises will periodically release a new version of Swift MEAP.   New releases include functionality that has been added to the application, in addition to bug fixes.  Depending on your device settings, app updates may be installed automatically or require you to accept and install updates manually.  The details below will allow you to check the version of the application that you have on your device and how to update your application using the different app stores.

To check the version of the application you have, you should open Swift MEAP on your device, and navigate to the Settings page, and then select Advanced Options, and click on App Info.  

If you are using a tablet, you should click on the icon in the top left of the application, typically this would be your company logo, to get to the settings menu.

If you are using a phone, you should use the menu button on the device to be able to see the settings button.  The button is only available when viewing a list of records, the settings button does not display when you are displaying a record's details.  Click the back button when viewing record details to navigate back to a list of records.

 

On the "App Info" page, you can see lots of information about the application, the details are shown below:

LanguageThe language that is used on your device

You should check that the build version matches the build version that you have been notified of by your administrator.  If they match, you are using the latest version.  However, if you have a lower build number, continue below for instructions on how to update your application.

Updating your application from the Google Play Store

iPad/iPhone

To check the version of the application you have, you should open Swift MEAP on your device, and navigate to the Settings page, and then select Advanced Options, and click on App Info.

Updating your application from the Apple App Store

On your device, you should open the App Store, and then navigate to the Updates tab.  On this page, you should see any apps that require updating.  Depending on your version of iOS, you can choose to update them individually, or, update all.

You can choose to enable auto updates of your apps from the device settings > iTunes & App Store. From there, you can choose to enable Updates or not.
