Admin Functions and Backups
This section will cover the functions available within the Utility menu of the iEnterprise Mobile™ Admin application. These functions include the ability to review log files, lookup Values on the Data Source, backup configuration files and restore the application back to a pre-defined state.
There is an additional level of security required to access some functions of the Utility menu. This enables senior administrators to restrict who can create new database fields, perform MySQL lookup commands and perform backup / restore functions by requiring a MySQL username and password. The level of access for each MySQL user is set up during installation or by running the iEnterprise Mobile™ Installer package (Configure MySQL users for admin console). If your company is not hosting its own iEnterprise Mobile™ installation, not all options may be available to you.
