Field Sort Order

Forms within the iEnterprise Mobile™ client can be divided into different sections, grouping certain fields to make using the client application easier for your users (you may want to have address information separated from revenue and projection information).

Field Sections are separated into groups, with Group 1 being referred to as the 'Business Card' section.  There is no hard limit on the number of groups you may have for a given form. 
Note that in the Business Card section, email addresses, telephone numbers and URLs will not resolve into clickable links. That feature is available only in groups 2 and beyond.


To change the order of Fields:

  1. Choose Map Settings in the Navigation Bar, then the Module you want to configure.
  2. Click on the button 'Change Order' at the top of the view.
  3. You will see a display of all mapped fields for the module you were viewing. Click and Drag the fields to change their position within a group or to a new existing group.
  4. Once you have made all changes, click 'Submit Order Changes' to retain the new positions else click the 'X' to close the window and return to the previous arrangement.
  5. To create new groups, click here Separate Here Icon


To Change the positions of Groups only (without altering the Field Order):

  1. Click the drop down arrow to the right of the 'Change Order' button.
  2. Click the option 'Group'.
  3. A window will appear displaying your groups. Click and Drag to reposition the groups.
  4. Once all changes have been made, click either the 'Submit Order Changes' button or the 'X' to close the window and return to the previous configuration.
