Initial Synchronization

Your system administrator may have chosen to complete a full initial load process upon activation. If this has been configured on the Swift MEAP server, a full download of data accessible to you from your data source will begin. Your system administrator may also choose to manually trigger a full download at a later date. For more information on this process, see How Will I Know Synchronization Has Started?.
If your Swift MEAP server has not been configured to complete a full synchronization download, initially there will be no records to display on the iPad. You can still search for records and retrieve them as needed. For more information see Understanding the Search Structure.
NOTE: On the iPad, applications are suspended after 10 minutes of user inactivity. Swift MEAP synchronization cannot continue to run in the background if the application has been suspended.
