How Will I Know Synchronization Has Started?
You can only synchronize after your iPad has been authenticated, as described in Authenticating your device.
Synchronization starts either automatically or manually. Automatic synchronization is described in Detecting Network Connectivity and Automated Synchronization. Manual synchronization is described in Manually Synchronizing Data.
If your administrator has sent you an initial load, either automatically or manually, once synchronization has been activated a splash screen is displayed across the iPad screen to indicate that synchronization is in process:
Once synchronization has completed:
- If conflicts or errors occur during synchronization, these are recorded as a synchronization failure in the Sync Log and information about the error is recorded in the Swift MEAP Admin application.
