New Features of v3.1

 

Support for Microsoft 2011, 2013, and 2015 On-Line Authentication Web Services

LNC Admin DB version 3.1 allows the admin to connect to the 2011 or 2013 versions of MS Dynamics as well as make use of the 2015 On-Line authentication.

Supported authentications are On Premise (AD), Online (Claims), and IFD (Claims)


Online (Claims) support in the LNC Client was introduced in version 5.4.  You must have this version in both Client and Admin DB to use Online Authentication

Configurable Search Parameters and results

Starting in v3.0, the ability for the Admin to use either the default search options in the 'Select' search window, or choose up to four (4) fields from the CRM as search parameters.  This is configured on a pre-module basis in the Admin Console.  The search parameters may then be used to show the search results.


The User Preference option in the Configuration section of the of user document has been removed. The Administrator will need to choose Enabled or Disabled for users who had this set to User Preference in the previous version.

 

Update Selected Users

An Update Selected Users option has been added to the Update All button. This will allow the Administrator to update a selection of users instead of updating all users at once.

System Improvements

  • Improved the License validation process to make license management easier and reduce the server load.
  • Removed the Auto refresh agent used in LNC to refresh data from the Admin Db to decrease server load.
