Follow these steps to enable Gmail sync, if you are not a “G-Suite” user OR if you don’t have access to G-Suite admin panel to trust iEnterprise Mail sync.
Open Gmail,
Goto “Settings”.
Goto Tab “Forwarding and POP/IMAP”.
Make sure “IMAP access” is enabled.
Open Manage your Google Account ,
(By clicking your photo that appear at top-right portion of your Gmail screen)
Goto “Security”
Under “Signing in to Google“, Choose “App Passwords”.
Generate an App password for isync. (2-step verification must be enabled to see the “App passwords “ option)
Copy the password.
In Email Sync connection settings,
Choose “Other” as Provider.
Enter Server - “imap“imap.gmail.com“com“.
Enter Port - “993”.
Enter your Gmail address as the user name.
Paste / Enter the password generated above as the password.
Enable “Require SSL”.
Click “Connect”.
Make sure you get the “Connection success” message.
