Clearing Data from User Devices

Administrators can send a remote command to a device to clear either Data or both the Configuration file (CAD) and Data. A device should be cleared prior to removing a user account.


Once a request has been initiated, it is queued for processing. When the device next connects to the iEnterprise Mobile™ server, data will be cleared without prompting from the mobile device.

If a clear request has been sent, users do not have the ability to disable or delay the clearing of their iEnterprise Mobile™ data.

It does take some time to erase all information from a user device, so it is best to schedule a convenient time with the user.
