Clearing the CAD and Device Data

A command to clear both the CAD and Data on a device can be sent by an administrator using the Admin application.
If you are reloading a device, there is no need to clear the CAD and Data. Performing a reload will automatically clear the device before a new load begins. For more information on performing a reload, see Reloading Data on User Devices.

Use the following procedure to clear the configuration and device data from selected devices using the Users menu:

1. Select the User menu in the Navigation Menu on the left side of the Admin application to view the User List.
2. Select the check box next to each user's device that you want to clear CAD and data from.
3. Move the cursor over Clear button, then select CAD and Data.
4. Enter the administrator password when prompted, then click OK.
5. A message similar to the following is displayed at the top of the page: Sent clear CAD and data request to device.
