Mobile Device Language
iEnterprise Mobile supports multiple languages, if supported by the Data Source. When mobile users activate a device, the language strings downloaded to a device are determined by the language set in the Data Source for the userid entered.
If a mobile user wishes to change languages after activation, change the language settings in the Data Source and use the following procedure to clear and re-activate a device:
- Delete the user from the user list. For more information, see Removing Users
- Ask the user to reset the iEnterprise Mobile application on their device. The reset procedure will depend on the device used:
- iPad / iPhone: The user should go into iOS general settings, scroll down the list of Apps and select iEnterprise Mobile. The should then switch on Reset the application on next launch option.
- Android: In iEnterprise Mobile, press your phone/tablet menu button and select Settings. Press Reset Application.
- Blackberry: In iEnterprise Mobile, open the Settings menu. Type crm to access the hidden menu. Select Reset Application.
- When the user restarts iEnterprise Mobile, they will be asked to authenticate. The language associated with the Data Source login details they enter will then be downloaded to the device.
