Deleting Records

Records can be deleted using the List View, unless your data source does not allow deletion or your administrator has disabled deletion using the Admin application.
To delete records:

  1. Find the record that you wish to delete, using one of the following methods:
  2. Tap the record to select it.
  3. Swipe your finger across the record name in the List View to reveal the Delete button.
  4. Tap the Delete button and one of the following actions will be performed:
  5. If deletions are allowed by the data source and your administrator, you will be able to select from the following options:
    • Delete from data source: Deletes the record locally and from the data source.
    • Remove: Removes the record from the device.
    • Cancel: Returns to List View.
  6. Select one of the options above by tapping. If a delete or remove has been selected, you will be asked to confirm. Select Yes to remove or No to return.
  7. If deletions are not allowed, you will get the message "You cannot delete this record. It can only be removed from the device. Do you want to remove?". Tap Yes to remove or No to return.
