The List View

This List View displays records held within the Top Level Object selected in the Navigation Banner. In the example below, the "Accounts" Top Level Object has been selected in the Navigation Banner, which displays a list of accounts stored locally on the iPad.
Typically, new records are added from within the List View Record area; see Adding Top Level Objects.
Selecting another Top Level Object would display different records, but the structure of list remains consistent throughout the application. There are four areas within the List View, which are as follows:

  1. List View Title Bar (blue area) – changes to display the currently selected Top Level Object and contains icon for adding additional records. For information on adding new records, see Adding Top Level Objects.
  2. Search / Look Up bar (green area) – used to search local data and perform data source look up.
  3. List View Record (red area) – shows data records held locally on the iPad, within the Top Level Object selected. Currently selected record is highlighted in blue.
  4. Alphabetical Index Bar (yellow area) – used to quickly navigate to the section of data you wish to view.
