Users with Administrative rights can add or create Custom Widgets that can be used by other users.   URL or HTML content can be used.

Warning

URLs with x-frame-options = 'sameorigin" is not supported.

How to Create Custom Widgets

1.  Click Setup from the Toolsbar.

2.  Click on Global Settings > Custom Widgets

3.  Click New Widget from the Action bar.  Dialog box opens.

4.  On the New Widget dialog box, Enter Display Name.  

5.  Select a module from the Module drop down.

6.  When a specific module is selected, opt to click on Display only when opening records checkbox.

Selecting this checkbox will enable you to use field placeholders as this shows up only when record is opened.

7. Type a Description of the widget.

8.  Select Widget Type, either URL or HTML.

9.  Write or paste the code on the the URL/HTML field.

10.  Click Submit.

The new widget is added to the list.
