Swift MEAP iEnterprise Mobile supports multiple languages, if supported by the Data Source. When mobile users activate a device, the language strings downloaded to a device are determined by the language set in the Data Source for the userid entered.

If a mobile user wishes to change languages after activation, change the language settings in the Data Source and use the following procedure to clear and re-activate a device:

  1. Delete the user from the user list. For more information, see Removing Users
  2. Ask the user to reset the Swift MEAP iEnterprise Mobile application on their device. The reset procedure will depend on the device used:
    1. iPad / iPhone: The user should go into iOS general settings, scroll down the list of Apps and select Swift MEAPiEnterprise Mobile. The should then switch on Reset the application on next launch option.
    2. Android: In Swift MEAPiEnterprise Mobile, press your phone/tablet menu button and select Settings. Press Reset Application.
    3. Blackberry: In Swift MEAPiEnterprise Mobile, open the Settings menu. Type crm to access the hidden menu. Select Reset Application.
  3. When the user restarts Swift MEAPiEnterprise Mobile, they will be asked to authenticate. The language associated with the Data Source login details they enter will then be downloaded to the device.
