The settings described in Displaying Fields Mapped Within Modules can be changed from within the Map Settings menu, but the field mapped cannot be altered.
If the incorrect field is mapped in the Swift MEAP™ console, you should use the following procedure to correct it:

  1. Remove the currently mapped field. For more information, see Deleting Mapped Fields.
  2. Map a new field. For more information, see Mapping New Fields.


To alter the settings for a currently mapped field:

  1. Select Map Settings in the Navigation Menu on the left of the page.
  2. Click on the name of a module you wish to alter the field settings within.
  3. Click on the Edit icon next to the field you wish to change. A pop up window will be displayed, allowing you to make changes to the settings.
  4. Change the settings as required. For more information on the different options available, see Displaying Fields Mapped Within Modules
  5. Click on Submit button to save changes. Click Yes to confirm the changes.

 

Deleting a Mapped Field

The field mappings can be deleted within the Map Settings menu. To delete an existing field mapping:

  1. Select Map Settings in the Navigation Menu on the left of the page.
  2. Click on the name of a module you wish to delete a field mapping within.
  3. Click on the Remove icon next to the field you wish to delete.
  4. A pop up window will be displayed, click on Yes to confirm deletion.

 

Mapping a New Field

You can create new field mappings using the following section within Map Settings.

To map a new module field:

  1. Select Map Settings in the Navigation Menu on the left of the page.
  2. Select the name of a module you wish to create a new field mapping within.
  3. Click on 'Map Fields'.
  4. Click Fetch Data Source Modules. A list of unmapped objects will be retrieved from the Data Source and the Data Source Module Names list will be populated.
  5. Select a field name from the Server Field Name list then the Data Source Field Name.
  6. Click 'Add to Map List'.
  7. Once you have selected all the fields you want to add to the module, click 'Map'.
  8. A pop up menu will appear asking for confirmation. Click Yes to confirm.


The new field is added to the bottom of the list of existing fields and appears under Map Settings in the Navigation Menus.
