The Phone has a different interface to the Android Tablet but has the same functionality. On opening the application, the sync log will be displayed.

Modules are displayed at the bottom of the screen and tapping will select to view record list.

There are some common Android icons used in the application.

These icons are displayed at the bottom row of the screen:

These four icons will be referred to as Back, Home, OpenApps and More buttons.
Within the Swift MEAP™ application, these four icons have the following functions:

  1. Back button: Navigate back through menu options
  2. Home button: This exits to the main Android screen
  3. OpenApps button: Displays all running Android applications
  4. More button (three vertical dots): Opens context menus / settings / edit options

We use the Back and More icons, the others should not be needed unless you wish to exit the application.

These icons may vary depending on Android and device version.

Due to the restricted space, the Phone interface utilizes a simpler interface than the Tablet version. We display all possible information and tapping will drill down to reveal more information. Wherever this is done, tapping on the Back button navigates back one level.

The More button is used to enter settings and view context sensitive options. Such options include; editing records, creating records, clearing sync log, sorting and searching for records. Depending on what you are viewing, different options will be available to you.
