No Search Results - Records no found after a lookup


You type a known contact name or record in the search field and click on the Select button but nothing happens even though the record exists in CRM.

Enable debug in the Settings menu and click OK, try the search again to get more debug screens. 

Check each screen for text such as ERROR at Row1:Column159 "No such Column" then this indicates that some fields that is required for association have been hidden in the Salesforce CRM.



Ask the CRM Administrator to confirm the field accessibility for your user profile. If for example, the "Other Address" field is hidden, it will affect fields that are associated with it. In this case, its the OtherStreet field as displayed in the debug screen.

Administration Setup > Security Controls > Field Accessibility
 
If the field is hidden for your user profile, ask the Administrator to make it visible to resolve the issue.
