An email can also be added to another object besides Contacts and Leads.


How to Associate to other CRM Records


1.  On Gmail, go to your Inbox.

2.  Select an email to open.

3.  On the Email Connector panel, notice that a search is running to check if sender is a contact/lead on the CRM.

     If it is, then the details of the contact/lead is displayed on the panel.
     If search found multiple results, the records are listed and user can select the appropriate contact or lead.

4.  If Email is found, then status is "Email has been added to CRM".
5.  Click Link to CRM Records.  Note that there are only 3 object available this time, Contacts, Leads and Opportunity.
6.  Click Select Module dropdown and select an object.
7.  Enter the object name on the search bar and click Search button to search for the object. Select the record if found.
8.  The Addon panel refreshes and the object selected is displayed at the bottom.
