CAD Management

A CAD (Configuration Application Definitions) file contains all mapping information, menu settings, configuration settings and defaults relating to your installation. This is the file is used by the iEnterprise Mobile™ client to tell it how your installation has been customized to suit your needs.


A new CAD file should be sent to users whenever a change is made to your Module Configuration that will affect a client device, for instance:

  • Default poll time is changed.
  • Options are disabled.
  • The name of a field has changed.
  • New icons have been defined.
  • Keywords Updated.
  • Field Mapping changes have been made.
  • Etc
