An opportunity has many stages that you can configure but ultimately a deal can be "Won" or "Lost".

How to Close an Opportunity

1.  Select Opportunity from the Object Navbar.

2.  Click to open an Opportunity item in read mode.

3.  On the Action Bar,

Click Won button,

Opportunity recomputes with the final value and Completed date is set.

If automatic Subscription is enabled and there is a Subscription Product, a Subscription record is created.

Click Lost button,

Opportunity recomputes with the final value of 0 and Completed date is set.


Tip

Another way to close an Opportunity is to open the record in edit mode and select Sales Stage field = "Closed - Won" or "Closed - Lost".
