This section shows usage data from all devices activated in the console, and allows the Admin to create and view reports around that data.

The client will send the data to the server weekly via its scheduled sync setting, configured using the System Key report.reset.day. The default value is 'Sunday' on new installations.
 

To configure a report:

  1. Select Date range - You may either choose to enter a specific date range, or enter a number of weeks prior to the current date.
  2. Select Users:
    1. All Users - All users activated in the console will be chosen.
    2. Select Users - This button will open a selection window where you may choose any number of specific users from the user's list view (including a search button). Once you have chosen your list of users, click the 'Submit' button.
  3. Once selected, the report is automatically generated.


Four Tabs will be available to display the report data:

  • Row Data: This tab is a summary of the data for Selected Users, Records, and Usage for the reporting interval selected.
  • Selected Users: This is your list of users in the report
  • Records Chart: Displays the records Created, Updated, and Removed over the span of the report.
  • Usage Chart: Reports the use of the device(s) in minutes over that time interval selected.

 

Info
The client will keep a count of the records created, edited and deleted (not removed) during the reporting window specified, and will also keep a count of the number of minutes that the client is open in the UI (not when client is running in the background). Time tracked is rounded up to the nearest minute.
