Question:

From Lotus Notes, can a user identify the emails that have been linked to the CRM.

Answer:

Yes - once linked, a checkmark is shown.

You may also see the description of the contact, opportunity or object taht you linked the email to in Notes. 

You can even open up that item in the CRM with a single click so you can see everything about that item.
