Adding a new HTML Component

Creating the HTML package referenced below is outside the scope of this document. An HTML Component is required before configuring a field or module to display as HTML.

When you are ready to test the HTML:

• open the administration application
• Click on HTML in the navigation menu, then click Components.
• After clicking the Add button, you will be prompted for some information as described below.

You can add this HTML package to an existing folder, or create a new one. When the radio button is set to upload to an existing subfolder, you can use the drop down menu to choose the folder. If you'd like to create a new folder, add its name below that radio button. Enter a descriptive name for your component. Then add its Type. Your choices are:

• Quick Selector
• Inbound URL
• Data Display
• Keyword
• Reference

For all types, you would then enter a title.

For all but Inbound URL you will be asked to identify the object the Type relates to.

For Inbound URL, you would enter a Home Page "landing point", upload the files you have created, and Save this new component.

You must mark the field or module you wish to display using HTML as such. Edit the module or field's properties to check the box next to "Display as HTML". Save your change.
