Synchronisation Synchronization occurs automatically, but further options are available by tapping on the following icons:

The first icon is the Sync Now icon, it polls the iEnterprise Mobile™ server to see if there are any record updates / data waiting to be received. It will also process any records waiting to be sent.  By default, the application will automatically poll every 10 minutes (unless the icon is pressed).

The second icon is the Sync Log icon where historical details of record received / sent are kept.

The third icon (iPad only) indicates whethere there is an active internet connection.  If it is green a connection is active.  A red icon indicates the device is offline.  The icon only shows the status of the internet connection.  It does not monitor the connection to the iEnterprise Mobile™ server.

Note: The Sync Log icon may display a red circle with the number of failed transactions that are outstanding.  These are transactions that could not be processed by your data source and will need intervention to fix.  Please contact your iEnterprise Mobile™ administrator.

To review transactions, tap on the Sync Log icon, a list of transactions is displayed:

On the iPhone, transactions are displayed in a single list, tapping on a transaction will display its details. On the iPad, transactions are displayed in a list, tapping will display its details in the right hand side of the page.
 

On the iPad there is also a toggle to filter the records displayed. Tap on the button with a down arrow above the snyc log Sync Log to toggle which records are displayed, filtering results.
